About Gateway Vocational
Training Center (GVTC)
The Gateway Vocational Training Center (GVTC), established in 2021, is a dynamic institution committed to empowering young Liberians through technical vocational education and training (TVET). Our mission is to bridge the skills gap and enhance employability in the construction sector.
GVTC emerged from a collaboration fueled by the European Union and the German Government. The project, aptly named “Support to Demand-Driven Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for Young People in Liberia,” laid the foundation for our journey. This multi-donor joint action recognized the critical need for skilled workers and sought to address it comprehensively.

GVTC’s approach is rooted in demand-driven competency-based training. We equip our students with practical skills that align with industry requirements. Whether it’s mastering construction techniques, project management, or safety protocols, our graduates emerge job-ready and confident.
